"This is not just a film; it is the soul of India, the Dharma of India. You will agree with me once you watch our movie," said Boyapati Sreenu about his upcoming release, Akhanda 2. Set for a December 5 release, this mystical action thriller is the most expensive one in the director's career.
While the action and devotion set the mood, there is more for the family audience, something the team is not divulging yet. "This is a film that the entire family can go and happily watch together. Our country, our Vedas, our culture—you will see all these things in this movie," the Simha and Legend maker added.
This one is his fourth movie with Nandamuri Balakrishna. "This is a journey of four films with Balayya garu. Every single film has been a tremendous hit. No one can say how big a success this film is going to achieve," he added.
The visuals of the Thaandavam song were shot at minus 12 degrees. "Lord Shiva himself guided us. That's why the film has turned out so wonderfully. I sincerely request everyone to watch this film in theaters," Boyapati Sreenu further said.
Balakrishna's speech too was laced with Dharmic references. "This is my second film under the production of Achanta Ram and Gopi Achanta of 14 Reels Plus. They are passionate about contributing to the industry. This film was shot in many wonderful locations like Georgia and Madhya Pradesh," Balakrishna said.
