The Odyssey (July 17, 2026) marks Nolan's ambitious dive into ancient mythology, adapting Homer's epic. It is being made on a staggering $250 million budget. This one is Nolan's priciest outing yet. Shot entirely on IMAX 70mm film, it used over two million feet of footage. And so much of this footage was captured on real ocean waves to authentically depict Odysseus's perilous voyage. Shifting to Avengers: Doomsday (December 18, 2026), Robert Downey Jr.'s shocking return to the MCU is highly anticipated. He will be seen not as Iron Man, but as the villainous Doctor Doom. Directed by the Russo brothers, the film integrates X-Men icons like Patrick Stewart's Professor X and Ian McKellen's Magneto.
