Since Raju's wedding is the entertaining theme around which the plot of Anaganaga Oka Raju revolves, the non-musical promotions of the Sankranthi release were kicked off on Tuesday with a wedding reception-themed event. The Raju Gari Pelli Reception witnessed the presence of the lead pair, Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary, who arrived at the venue dressed up as a newly-wed couple. The Tollywood media personnel were present as guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen spoke of his struggling phase that lasted almost a year after he met with an accident. He had to spend the entirety of 2024 without doing much work. His strong desire to come up with a new release after scoring a hat-trick of hits fell apart. He is finally coming out with Anaganaga Oka Raju, which is slated to be released in theatres on 14 January 2026.
Naveen thanked his admirers for constantly showering him with love, suggesting that their wish to see his new work has kept him motivated all along. "Your love helped me recuperate from my injuries faster. Anaganaga Oka Raju was filmed in six months. And we are now ready to entertain the family audience," the Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty star said.
He is not worried about the Sankranthi competition. After all, he grew watching the movies of the some of those star heroes. Sankranthi stands for entertainment and a specific vibe, he suggested, wishing Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and The Raja Saab all the best.
Meenakshi described the Maari directorial as a "great family entertainer". After Guntur Kaaram and Sankranthiki Vasthunam, AOR is her third Sankranthi release.
