Razor is director Ravi Babu's upcoming movie. To be released in theatres in April or May 2026, its production is currently in the final stages. The movie's title glimpse was unveiled today.
Grisly and macabre, the visuals show men's bodies being dissected after they are killed in the most brutal, sadistic manner. They feel like someone from the sets of a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie landed on the sets of Razor to dole out A-rated ideas.
Ravi Babu's filmmaking had a degree of novelty in the 2000s. Allari, Nuvvila, Avunu, and Anasuya showed that his craftsmanship had calibre and his story-telling had a voice. At one point, he even tried to cast Uday Kiran and Tarun, two of the big young actors. In the mid-2010s, deterioration started and his fall has been spectacular ever since.
