Santhana Prapthirasthu, released in theatres on November 14th, is expected to collect Rs 6.5 Cr in gross by the end of its second Sunday at the box office. Producer Madhura Sreedhar, who today held a success meet in the presence of Lagadapati Sreedhar (who encouraged him to enter the film industry in the early 2000s), said that the response has been very positive.
In his speech, Sreedhar thanked the entire team for their passion. Lead actors Vikranth Reddy and Chandini Chowdary came in for appreciation. Producer Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, the other producer of the clean family entertainer, appreciated the entire team and thanked the audience. He iterated the movie's essential message that one must stay away from unhealthy habits.
DJ Tillu fame Muralidhar Goud praised the movie's sensitive handling of a delicate topic. He plays the heroine's father in the family entertainer and has a full-fledged role.
Heroine Chandini Chowdary added that during their promotional tours, many people had said how deeply they had connected with her. She felt the credit went to their director for designing such a beautiful character, and to Shaik Dawood (writer) whose writing had become another pillar of the film. The Gaami actress continued that hero Vikranth had worked extremely hard, and she wished him many more successes. She concluded by saying that Vikranth was one of the most promising young actors, and she once again earned strong recognition through that film. She added that it was a film that audiences across languages could enjoy.
Hero Vikranth credited the writing department, alongside director Sanjeev Reddy, for crafting each scene in such a way that the emotions and fun quotient are well-balanced. Saying that the BO collections are highly encouraging, he urged the audience to discourage piracy.
Praising the lead performances, director Sanjeev Reddy said, "Our hero accepted this challenging subject so early in his career, he gained weight, and de-glamourized himself."
