Not just Trivikram, another director is vying to bring Kartikeya to life

It's known that Trivikram Srinivas has been planning to make a movie on Lord Kartikeya, the Hindu God of War. Either Allu Arjun or Jr NTR will be the hero.

Incidentally, another Tollywood filmmaker has been making serious plans to mount a mythological story on the same God. Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja and Chitralahari fame has worked on a divine script involving Kartikeya and Goddess Parvathi. He has worked on it for four years. If everything goes well, it will be his next one after Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahashayulaku Wignapthi. But that's a big IF.

While Kishore Tirumala is banking on the mother-son angle (Trivikram's script is likely about something else), no producer might dare to bankroll his ambitious dream when Trivikram is already on it. Trivikram's movie, to be produced by Sithara Entertainments, will be made on a budget of more than Rs 500 Cr. Unless Tirumala opts to make a drama instead of a spectacle cinema, he will have to drop his idea!
