Little Hearts, backed by ETV Win original production, features Mouli Tanuj of 90's Middle Class Biopic fame in the lead role. It stars Shivani Nagaram as the female lead. Helmed by Sai Marthand and bankrolled by Aditya Hasan, the film will head to theatres on September 12th.
Its teaser launch event was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, guest and director Anil Ravipudi said that teen life is the same for all generations. "A lively teen film is what we all like. Little Hearts seems to be that lively movie! As Mouli said, comedy films are best watched in a cinema hall full of audiences. I appreciate the guts of the team to release Little Hearts in theatres and not directly on OTT. When I watched Aditya Hasan's 90's Middle Class Biopic, I really loved its hilarity. Sai Marthand's treatment feels so good. I appreciate the ETV Win team for bringing out excellent content. I request them to bring out their content to theatres. Bunny Vasu and Vamsi Nandipati deserve our appreciation for backing this film as distributors," Anil said.
Bunny Vasu said that he has always loved Anil's movies, which he described as "stress busters". Describing the Sankranthiki Vasthunam director as a positive-minded person, he thanked him for gracing the occasion. "Little Hearts may be a small movie, but he agreed to come here today to support it despite his busy schedule. I have watched Little Hearts thrice. I am so satisfied. I enjoyed it throughout. Intermediate students and parents, in particular, will love this film," Bunny Vasu said.
Vamsi Nandipati said, "This film will make you laugh so much that your stomach will ache. I guarantee that I will finance your medical expenses."
Director Sai Marthand said that the run-time of the movie is 123 minutes. "I would like Anil Ravipudi garu to watch Little Hearts a week before our movie's release and endorse our movie," he added.
ETV Win Nithin said, "Little Hearts is worthy of repeat viewings. This is a universal movie like Pelli Choopulu (2016)."
Actor Mouli Tanuj said, "Without Bunny Vasu sir and Vamsi sir, we wouldn't have managed a theatrical release. Producer Aditya Hasan is like a family member. The frames are fresh, suiting a youthful story. All our technicians, from the cinematographer to the sound designer, the costumer, and art director, have made this possible. The direction department has worked on the movie only because of sheer passion." Mouli said that Rajeev Kanakala's scenes will surely have the audience laughing out loud. Nikhil, who was seen as a child artist in 100% Love, has a friend's role. Jay Krishna, whose Reels on Insta are viewed by lakhs, has another such role. Mouli said that Little Hearts is a pure theatrical film. "On OTT, this might feel average. Comedy films are meant to be watched in cinema halls," he added.
