Here is why Bandla Ganesh was wrong in embarrassing Mouli

The other day, at a public event of Little Hearts, producer Bandla Ganesh displayed his over-enthusiasm as he publicly handed over some "suggestions" to newbie Mouli Tanuj. He asked Mouli to be cautious of the "mafia" within the film industry, telling him to always stay grounded and never take anything for granted.

As Bandla Ganesh aired his sensational views for 2.5 minutes, Mouli was visibly nervous. At first, the youngster seemed to receive the suggestions with a smile, believing them to be well-meaning. As Ganesh started using terms like "mafia", Mouli didn't know how to react. Any reaction from him was borne of a sense of confusion. As someone who is just starting out, he couldn't have afforded to publicly embrace the suggestions with a clear-cut facial expression.

Bandla Ganesh used the occasion to wash the dirty linen and satisfy his petty ego. As someone who has been in politics before, he should be the last person to use controversial terms like "mafia" as though he were an underdog.

At the very least, Ganesh should have had the maturity not to embarrass a newbie like Mouli, who is just learning to navigate fame. If he was a genuine person, he would have asked Mouli to come over to his place, offer him a cup of tea, and give his suggestions. But he chose to hog headlines.

Mouli will now be asked about Ganesh's speech in his future interviews. And he will have to be cautious in his answers. He will be asked about Uday Kiran's downfall. He will have to measure his words and probably beg the interviewer to stop asking him such questions. Ganesh, meanwhile, will move on to his next viral speech, which he will watch and rewatch with the energy of an award-winning artist.
