Emotional Manchu Manoj Vows to Act Non-Stop After 'Mirai' Success

Manchu Manoj is emotional about the success of Mirai. As the prime antagonist of the fantasy adventure action drama, he is walking away with universal accolades. As Colour Photo director Sandeep Raj said at the film's Brahmand Blockbuster Celebration event on Tuesday, seeing Manoj back on the big screen is like seeing an elder brother return from abroad after many years. This sentiment has touched Manoj.

Speaking at the event, Manoj revealed that his mother was emotional after watching the movie. "She wants me to keep acting in movies at a stretch. She gave me a warm hug after watching Mirai," Manoj said, indicating that he watched the Karthik Ghattamneni directorial with his friends and family.

Having received only love from the audience and his admirers, Manoj has resolved to act without a break from now on.

Manoj is particularly amazed by the vision and commitment of producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. He wished that Prabhas' The Raja Saab and Roshan Kanakala's Mowgli, also produced by the banner, go on to become big hits.

Manoj is aware that background is not a necessity for one to attain stardom. He named Mouli Tanuj's rise with the blockbuster success of Little Hearts. "You don't have to be the son of a Chiranjeevi or a Mohan Babu. A social media influencer has delivered a big hit," he added.

Besides the British-era period drama David Reddy (on which KGF talents Ravi Basrur and Ujwal Kulkarni are working), Manoj is also doing Rakshak, in which he is playing an aggressive cop. In Abraham Lincoln, Manoj will be seen in a high-octane role. The Bollywood production house, T-Series, is associated with it.
