Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is reportedly going to play a major role in Chiranjeevi's action drama to be directed by Bobby Kolli. He has been offered a sexy amount of remuneration for a negative role in this one.
The big-ticket movie in the combination of the Waltair Veerayya actor-director duo is being produced by KVN Productions. It will be a 2027 release. Reports say that actor Karthi, too, has been approached for a pivotal part. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
Anurag Kashyap starred as Selvam in the Tamil movie Maharaja alongside Vijay Sethupathi. He is currently also part of Adivi Sesh's Dacoit, his first major straight Telugu outing. Kashyap has also ventured into regional cinema, acting in films like the Tamil thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018) and the major Tamil film Leo (2023) where he played a villain. Other notable appearances include the Hindi films Akira (2016).
