Telusu Kada, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda in the lead, is currently streaming on Netflix. Neeraja Kona, the debutante director, is waiting for the movie to reach a large audience on OTT, considering that the theatrical release was overwhelmed by Kiran Abbavaram's K-Ramp.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Telusu Kada is a two-heroine movie. Both Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty have weighty heroine roles in the coming-of-age marital story.
Here is what the film is about. Varun (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is an affluent star hotel chef whose parents died when he was young. Since he has led an orphaned life, he pines for a loving wife and kids. He opts for an arranged marriage with Anjali (Raashii Khanna). But when Anjalii is diagnosed with a gynaec problem that makes it impossible for her to get pregnant, the duo opt for Surrogacy and approach Raaga (Srinidhi Shetty), an IVF specialist who volunteers to bear their child. Who is Raaga? Is she just altruistic or is there more to her character? Where do the lives of Varun, Anjali and Raaga head from here? That's what the film is all about.
