Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung a song for the first time in Telugu under the music direction of his legendary father, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Yuvan has rendered a melody for Shashtipoorthi.

In a statement, producer Rupeysh and director Pavan Prabha expressed their delight over their movie having been blessed by the father-son duo's musical talent. Titled 'Raathranta Rachche', the song comes with interesting lyrics. 'Mari Nuvvante Picche, Nee Maate Nachche – Madi Marumallai Vichche, Chooste Padatha – Chesthe Chedata Kata Kata..! Pada – Dosti Kadatha – Kusti Padatha – Valapu Vaakita..', the lines written by Chaitanya Prasad go. Yuvan described the song as a cool one.

The makers revealed that the film's launch day coincided with Ilaiyaraaja's delivery of the song's tune. Initially, Ilaiyaraaja had a Tamil singer record the song, which was eventually crooned by his son. The director felt that Yuvan was essential to capture the song's mood. After persistent requests, Ilaiyaraaja agreed to have Yuvan sing it. The resulting track prominently elevates the film's musical landscape, surpassing the impact of the first two releases with its romantic intensity.

Shashtipoorthi is headlined by Rajendra Prasad and his Ladies Tailor heroine Archana. Produced by Maa Aaie Productions with Rupeysh and Akanksha Singh as a young pair, the family drama will head to theatres on May 30.
