Last year, in June, actor Allari Naresh joined hands with Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas for a new film. "You can never escape from his eye," the makers wrote, announcing the project. Meher Tej, the young filmmaker who directed Suhas' 'Family Drama' (streaming on SonyLIV), is wielding the megaphone.
The news is that the film's title was made official a while ago. Alcohol is what they are calling it. "DROWNING IN A DIFFERENT KIND OF HIGH…Alcohol will grip you to the core very soon," the makers wrote. Ghibran of Run Raja Run and Saaho fame is the music director.
"The only thing we can’t avoid…What if we dared to? (sic)," the team had written, teasing the title announcement.
Ruhani Sharma of Chi La Sow, Saindhav, HIT: The First Case and Operation Valentine fame is the heroine. Co-producer Venkat Upputuri of Gangs Of Godavari fame is associated with the project. Vishal Abani is the art director. Alcohol is edited by Niranjan Devaramane.
This one is Naresh's 63rd movie. Naresh was seen last year in Bachhala Malli, Aa Okkati Adakku, and Naa Saami Ranga. Naandhi, Ugram and Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam are among his other recent movies.
