'Gurthunda Seethakalam', starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Satyadev, will head to theatres on December 9. A presser was held on Sunday by the makers.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Ramarao Chintapalli said that the film has got fine performances by its lead pair, Megha Akash, Kavya Shetty and others. "The performances by the Satyadev-Tamannaah duo will always be etched in our hearts," he added, also praising the visuals and music.

Presenter M Subba Reddy said that the release date is apt. The title of the film, he said, reminds one of the current weather.

Priyadarshi said, "Satyadev always wanted to do a love story. He has proved his acting talent over the years. 'Gurthunda Seethakalam' strings together three beautiful love stories."

Director Nagashekar said, "I was busy in Sandalwood when this offer came to me from Tollywood. Star writer Lakshmi Bhupal has been of great support. The title of the film was finalized after everyone in the team felt it would be apt. Our producers are going in for a big release. Kaala Bhairava's music has taken the film to the next level. The cinematography and editing are superb."

Satyadev said, "I have always liked to do comedies and love stories. But concept films and heavy roles alone kept coming to me. When Nagashekar narrated this script to me, I okayed it in ten minutes. The film blends three love stories so organically. Tamannaah has played this type of character for the first time ever. My character in 'GodFather' received a thumping response. I thank the producers of 'GS' on this occasion."
