The musical journey for the upcoming romantic drama Sumathi Shatakam has officially begun with the launch of its first single, Ekkade Ekkade. Released via Aditya Music, the track is a soulful melody composed by Subhash Anand, featuring heartfelt lyrics by Tirupati Javana and vocals by Dhanunjay Seepana.
Produced by Sai Sudhakar Kommalapati under the Vision Movie Makers banner, the film is written and directed by M.M. Naidu. While the new song focuses on the chemistry between lead actors Amardeep Chowdary and Shaili Chowdary, it also gives hints about the nature of the love story.
"We are aiming to deliver high production standards to match the film's tender narrative," the makers hinted.
Tasty Teja, Mahesh Vitta, and JDV Prasad have prominent roles. The technical side of the project is helmed by cinematographer S. Halesh and editor Naheed Mohammed. Producer Sai Sudhakar Kommalapati has worked with Akella Gopi Krishna, Kiran Vijay, Mirchi Kiran, Nellore Neeraj, and Malakpet Shailaja.
The film's scheduled theatrical debut on February 6 will be preceded by the release of a trailer. Sumathi Shatakam borrows its title from a compendium composed by Baddena Bhupaludu.
