Actor Mahat Raghavendra acted in Tollywood movies like Back Bench Student and Ladies and Gentlemen in the early 2010s. After a hiatus, he is now making a comeback in Telugu.
His comeback movie co-stars Aishwarya Rajesh of Sankranthiki Vasthunam fame. More details of the project will be divulged in due course of time.
Expressing his enthusiasm about returning to the Telugu screen, Mahat called this re-entry an "exciting phase" and a "new chapter" in his career. He hopes to receive the same love and support that viewers have always shown him in the past.
The actor, who has built a strong multi-industry portfolio with Tamil hits such as Mankatha (the Ajith-starrer afforded him visibility), Jilla, and Chennai 28 Part 2, and even the Bollywood movie Double XL, has undergone a physical makeover for his upcoming Telugu movie. Since today's actors are expected to cater to the Gen Z audience, Mahat is prepared for the challenge.
On the personal front, Mahat Raghavendra is married to model Prachi Mishra, a former Miss India 2012. They got married in 2020. They are blessed with a son.
