Saleem, a Vizag-based lawyer, is defending iBomma Ravi in the sensational film piracy case. As per him, Ravi can be easily defended if the Enforcement Directorate doesn't press grave charges against him. For those who don't know, Saleem is no small player. He has previously argued the Kodi Katthi case.
"After I took up Ravi's case, many have appreciated me. The masses feel that Ravi is a hero. They worship him," Saleem told a TV channel, adding that he is not concerned with the relief expressed by Chiranjeevi, Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Dil Rajua and the entire Telugu film industry. "The masses are with Ravi," Saleem observed.
What next?
It's increasingly becoming evident that the laws in place won't be allowed to curb film piracy. Already, former Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand has written that hacking can't be stopped. In other words, piracy can't be ended. Unless iBomma Ravi is tried for enabling some other serious crime and the ED presents a water-tight case, he will be out with a bang!
