Akhil Akkineni’s parents, Nagarjuna and Amala, joined the bride’s family in personally inviting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to the upcoming wedding. The ceremony is set to take place on June 6.
Akhil Akkineni got engaged to an artist named Zainab Ravdjee in November 2024. "We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and your countless blessings," Nagarjuna wrote on social media, introducing his to-be daughter-in-law to the world. Zainab is a passionate artist and painter who has lived in London and Dubai before.
Akhil is currently doing a film under the direction of Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame. Titled Lenin, it stars Sreeleela as the female lead. It is jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments. Nagarjuna awaits the release of Kuberaa on June 20 and Coolie on August 14.
