Deepika Padukone has reportedly opted out of Prabhas' Spirit. Or, as some would have it, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga showed her the door.
As per the narrative being spun by a section of Tollywood media, the Kalki 2898 AD actress didn't want to shoot for long hours. She wanted the maximum number of hours to be limited to six hours. This was not to the liking of Vanga.
With the media and a section of Prabhas' fans describing Deepika Padukone as unprofessional, a counter-argument has been offered. "The actress has an eight-month-old baby at home who needs her care. Asking for decent shooting hours is no way an 'unprofessional behaviour'. Either you agree or disagree with her terms, but you CANNOT label one as unprofessional simply for seeking a work schedule that allows her to balance her career and motherhood," argued Bollywood BO tracker Rahul Raut.
So far, there is no official update about whether Deepika continues to be a part of Prabhas' Spirit or not.
