A press meet was held today in Hyderabad to release the third song from Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The film heads to theatres on June 12.
Speaking on the occasion, director AM Jyothi Krishna said, "Every filmmaker dreams of directing Pawan Kalyan garu just for a shot. I am grateful to have got to work on HHVM. Krish Jagarlamudi garu laid the foundation for this project. It's not easy to impress Pawan garu. He completed filming for the movie tirelessly. He is a man of excellence and perfection. On one occasion, he participated in the shoot after climbing down 400 steps of the Kanaka Durgamma Temple in Vijayawada. All technicians have worked with so much passion despite the project's span being so long."
Producer A Dayakar Rao thanked the technicians who have been working on HHVM for the past 5.5 years. He described composer Keeravani as someone who has elevated the stature of Telugu cinema (by winning the Oscar Award for Naatu Naatu song). "HHVM is a period movie, which involved so much effort. You will see the result when you watch it on the big screen," the producer said.
MM Keeravani said, "Director AM Jyothi Krishna is agile when it comes to making decisions. He has been working relentlessly on post-production. AM Ratnam garu has always steered clear of controversies. Nidhhi Agerwal features in Kollagottinadhiro and Tara Tara. She has maintained her physique the same way for the past 5.5 years. Asura Hananam is a chorus song. Power Star Pawan Kalyan is a Dharmagrahi. His rage is for the larger social good. HHVM is tailor-made for his persona. Regardless of success or otherwise, he remains equanimous."
Nidhhi Agerwal said that HHVM has been an emotional journey. "This film has a huge place in my heart. I am the biggest fan of Pawan Kalyan sir. Like I always say, 'Ee adrushtam naku dorikindi'," she said.
Lyricist Rambabu Gosala said, "I am happy to have got to write Asura Hananam. AM Ratnam garu produced some of the biggest blockbusters we know. As a child, I used to be thrilled just listening to his banner's name. This June 12, you are going to experience something unique. Asura Hananam will be 100 times more successful than Sammohanuda from Rules Ranjann, a successful song I wrote under Jyothi Krishna's direction. I will always be indebted to Keeravani sir. When I watched Annamayya, I was inspired to write songs on Lord Venkateswara."
Presenter AM Ratnam said, "We are going to conduct two grand events in the coming days. I have been in the industry for the past 54 years. Almost all my films were commercially successful. Satyagrahi was announced under Pawan Kalyan garu's direction (in 2005). But it couldn't be turned into a reality. Years later, we wanted to team up for the Telugu remake of Vedhalam, but that too didn't materialize. Finally, HHVM happened. After Kushi and Bangaram, this is my third movie with him. Kalyan garu loved Asura Hananam a lot. He wanted me to dub Kushi in Hindi. I couldn't do it then. This time, our movie HHVM will be dubbed and released in Hindi. The scale of HHVM will become more and more evident when you watch the upcoming promotional assets."
