"A little softness. A little love. This is all their world allowed. We welcome you all into it, into our journey, emotions and our hearts," actor Vijay Deverakonda wrote on social media, plugging the first song from Kingdom. Titled Hridayam Lopala, the song builds on the romantic tension between the hero and his love interest, played by Bhagyashri Borse. Their blooming romance against the backdrop of a place ridden with friction has been staged dramatically.
Anirudh Ravichander's tune captures the intensity felt by the male lead. He sings the song with Anumita Nadesan. Krishna Kanth's lyrics could make more sense in the context of the story. "Two hidden identities. One forbidden connection. One song to set the nation on fire," wrote Sithara Entertainments.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri's songs were impressively staged as montages in Jersey as well. Kingdom, given its big-scale and more action-oriented backdrop, needs a similar style.
The film is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya. Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan are the cinematographers. Edited by Navin Nooli, the film's production design is by Avinash Kolla. Yannick Ben, Chethan D'Souza and Real Satish are the action choreographers.
