A team of stalwarts among Tollywood film producers today called on Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh. The delegation, which included prominent figures like Sithara Entertainments' S Naga Vamsi, OG producer DVV Danayya, and Mythri Movie Makers' Y Ravi Shankar, presented the minister with a petition outlining the challenges facing the film industry. The concerns of cine workers was a prominent point.
Kandula Durgesh listened carefully to their opinions and concerns before informing them that he would report and discuss the matter with the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. He also stated that if government intervention was needed, an appropriate decision would be made. The minister also gave an assurance that the government was committed to the development of the film industry in Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, the Minister added that the government was prepared to offer full cooperation to anyone willing to establish studios, re-recording theaters, and dubbing theaters in the state. Some of these areas have been under the active consideration of the AP government for more than a year.
