"This time, I am more responsible. I have taken a year's gap with the intent of giving you the best," Vishwak Sen shared, speaking at the Trailer launch event of Funky. On Saturday, he promised a non-stop laugh riot. "I literally argued with my director, Anudeep KV, for removing certain good jokes at the edit stage. Throughout the run-time of 130 minutes, you will laugh out loud! You will enjoy Funky to your heart's content," the Gaami actor added. Producer S Naga Vamsi joked that the actor's off-screen behaviour is nothing like before. "He is no longer sounding arrogant. He is jovial, much like he is in Funky," the producer commented.

Actress Kayadu Lohar enjoyed the vibe of the single-screen theatre where the trailer was unveiled. "Funky is going to be 100x more hilarious than its trailer. You will see Anudeep KV's talent in full force," the heroine added.

Naga Vamsi told the audience not to expect a story and emotions. "Anudeep is back in his Jathi Ratnalu form. Vishwak is going to entertain the way you would expect an Anudeep lead man to. Anudeep won't disappoint you this time," the producer added.

Funky is billed as a rom-com packed with family values. The film is character-driven; the male lead (Vishwak is Komal) is not expressive when it comes to human relations. The male protagonist has a Tom-n-Jerry equation with the heroine, a film producer. The friction between the lead pair goes beyond their professional equation. Funky will head to theatres on February 13.
