Will Dasara 2026 see a clash between Fauzi and NBK111? In an okay scenario, at least one of them will hit the cinemas for the festival.
Rebel Star Prabhas is lead in Fauzi, a pre-Independence era patriotic drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Prabhas as a soldier/spy in the 1940s. The production includes a stellar supporting cast with veterans Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher, while newcomer Imanvi plays the female lead. If this movie successfully comes out for Dasara, smaller releases will have to rethink their scheduling strategy.
Nandamuri Balakrishna might aim for his 111th film, directed by Gopichand Malineni. Following their successful collaboration on Veera Simha Reddy, this project is touted as a grand historical action spectacle. The film stars Nayanthara as the lead actress, marking her fourth collaboration with Balakrishna. Thaman S is on board for the music.
If Fauzi doesn't make it for Dasara, NBK111 will be in serious contention. And, along with it, at least 2-3 other movies. Fans would want at least one of the two biggies (Fauzi and NBK111) to be in the box-office race. If neither makes it to the festival, they will be terribly disappointed.
