"This time, I am so relaxed ahead of my movie's release. I am not tense," said Vishwak Sen, speaking at the pre-release event of Funky in Khammam. The actor, who plays a filmmaker in this Friday release (February 13 is the date), said that he is overwhelmed. "I can't forget the unconditional love the audience have shown me during my low phase. Last year, around this time, I was feeling low (because of Laila's failure). This year, I am at the other end of the spectrum. I thank Anudeep KV for considering me as Komal. I thank Chinababu garu for personally steering the project at one stage. This is going to be a hilarious ride that will make you go crazy," the actor added.

"Funky is going to entertain each and everyone in your house. Kayadu Lohar and I have done an energetic dance number. She is extremely professional. She is going to be here in the industry for a long time to come," the hero said.

Director Anudeep KV said, "Funky is a full-fledged family entertainer. I thank my co-writers and my technicians, particularly music director Bheems Ceciroleo."

Kayadu said, "Funky features Anudeep’s unmistakable brand of comedy, and it was a genuine pleasure collaborating with Vishwak Sen. I hope my character resonates with you all and earns your support."

Bheems said that Funky is a true crowd-pleaser that hits all the right notes for a fun night out. "Whether you are heading to the theater with friends or family, you can expect non-stop laughter from start to finish. I had a blast composing the background score; every scene genuinely cracked me up. This marks my fourth collaboration with Sithara Entertainments (following MAD, MAD Square, and Mass Jathara) and I am looking forward to many more projects with the team," the composer added.

Suresh Sarangam is the composer. Co-written by Anudeep and Mohan Sato, Funky also features VK Naresh. It is hitting the cinemas on February 13.
