This Maha Shivratri, actress Raashii Khanna has taken to profound spiritual connection. The multi-lingual actress today surprised her followers by releasing a soulful rendition of the bhajan, Shiv Kailashon Ke Waasi, whose language is directly inspired by scriptures.
The Telusu Kada and Sardar actress' focus was on quietude on the festival. Her latest offering is both devotional and creative. By replacing glamour with purpose, she created a meditative atmosphere that mirrors the sanctity of the festival. “On this divine day, I offer Shiv Kailashon Ke Waasi as my prayer to Mahadev, sung from a place of faith, surrender, and gratitude. A dream close to my heart, I share it with you as an offering, with the hope that it brings calm, strength, and blessings. Har Har Mahadev," the Pakka Commercial and Yodha star wrote on Instagram.
So, what is the hymn about? It is a powerful invocation of Lord Shiva. In Raashii’s version, her voice remains steady and humble. She set out to focus on the destruction of ego and inner awakening.
