Ahead of the theatrical release of The Great Pre-Wedding Show on November 7, its trailer was released at an event today.
The event was graced by several filmmakers known for making content-rich movies. Director Karuna Kumar of Palasa 1978 fame said that he spotted actor Thiruveer during a stage-play and decided to cast him as one of the lead actors in Palasa. "He shot for my film with so much commitment that he didn't even skip the shoot when his mother breathed her last. It was a touching level of dedication from him," Karuna Kumar said. He expressed the hope that The Great Pre-Wedding Show goes on to become a box-office hit. He suggested that the film is rooted and slice-of-life.
Director Sunny Sanjay personally likes Thiruveer's performance in the dark comedy, Pareshan. Saying that The Great Pre-Wedding Show has a relatable story, he added that Thiruveer is an expressive actor.
Director Ram Abbaraju of Samajavaragamana fame hoped that the situational comedy in the movie will connect with everyone. "The film has strong emotions in it," he added.
"Thiruveer always experiments and brings something new. I am a big fan of his. I wish the director and producers great success with this film," said director Aditya Hassan of #90's fame.
Director Yadhu Vamsi of Committee Kurrollu fame was another speaker who mentioned Pareshan in his speech. He has a personal bias towards actress Teena Sravya, who has previously worked under his direction. "Director Rahul has great positivity and energy. We always support new talent. The Great Pre-Wedding Show will surely impress with its content," he added.
Director Dushyant of Ambajipeta Marriage Band said that the trailer of The Great Pre-Wedding Show was awesome. He vouched for Thiruveer being the first choice for content movies.
Director Uday Gurrala of Mail said that Thiruveer always chooses good scripts. "He picks good stories instead of chasing stardom. He was so good in Masooda and George Reddy. He is such an effortless actor," Uday added. Director Nanda Kishore Emani of 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu fame praised Thiruveer for being a natural actor.
Director Rupak Ronaldson of Pareshan described the film as a "sweet, simple, and sensible fun ride". Praising the film's technical qualities, he suggested that families will surely like it. Director Ravi Teja Marni of Johaar fame predicted that the producers will enjoy profits. He appreciated them for encouraging fresh talents.
Thanking the many guests who turned up for the event, actor Thiruveer said, "I couldn’t stop laughing when I first heard the story. It was a pleasure shooting for our movie."
Producer Sandeep Agaram opened by extending his gratitude to all the directors who attended their event. He stated directly that their hero, Thiruveer, had been a pillar of support throughout the project and praised director Rahul for having made the film wonderfully. Following this, director Rahul Srinivas asserted that Thiruveer is the real hero of The Great Pre-Wedding Show, both on and off the screen. He expressed his pleasure that everyone loved the trailer and promised that the film "will be 100 times better and full of entertainment."
Actress Teena Sravya commented that they were happy so many talented directors had come to their event. She mentioned that the trailer received a great response and concluded by saying that audiences always support films with good content. Finally, Master Rohan also thanked all the directors who came to their event and gave the assurance that their film will make everyone laugh heartily.
