Anaswara Rajan will be seen in a traditionally-dressed and socially assertive woman named Chandrakala in Champion. Starring Roshan Meka in the lead, the heroine is its "heartbeat". The makers have highlighted her charm, ambition, and liveliness.
Anaswara Rajan has primarily worked in Malayalam and Tamil. Her critically acclaimed performance as a blind sculptor in Neru (2023) earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Malayalam. Anaswara has also made her debut in Tamil cinema with Raangi (2022) and in Hindi cinema with Yaariyan 2 (2023). Her recent notable films include box office successes like Abraham Ozler (2024) and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil (2024). The actress was last year roped in as the female protagonist in 7/G Brindavan Colony 2, which is yet to be released.
