Director Mahesh Chandra is currently helming a family entertainer titled Pithapuramlo. Coming with the tagline, 'Ala Modalaindi', the film is touted to be a rooted love story that blends emotions meant to please the family audience. The versatile Rajendra Prasad, who was most recently seen in Mass Jathara and family films like Shashtipoorthi, is assuming a leading role alongside famous artists like Prudhviraj.

This film weaves together three distinct love stories and explores the impact of shortcomings in the upbringing by three fathers on their children's lives. It's a highly relatable story that we believe will deeply resonate with the audience. Akula Suresh Patel wrote the story, with Sriram Edoti involving himself in developing the screenplay and writing dialogues. GC Krish is the music director.

After making his directorial debut with Preyasi Raavi, Maheh Chandra went on to make movies like Ayodhya Ramayya, Cheppalani Vundi and Red Alert. Pithapuramlo is his most important release yet. Mahesh Chandra Productions' Dundigalla Balakrishna, Akula Suresh Patel, and FM Murali (Godari Kittayya) have ensured that the movie's production was finished in time. "We captured the essence of the location with a 28-day shoot in and around Pithapuram. Additional filming took place over 15 days in Hyderabad and 6 days in Goa," the makers said.
