Actress Chandini Chowdary, who shot to fame with Colour Photo in 2020, has acted in notable movies like Gaami since then. A new film, belonging to a challenging genre, was launched with her as the protagonist.
The untitled film, directed by Vikas, is a science fiction dark comedy. Also, it introduces a "new kind of superhero".
A superhero element. A female actor as the protagonist. Doesn't it remind you of Lokah, Mollywood's biggest-ever hit? Lokah, released in August, was headlined by Kalyani Priyadarshan. It's likely that its success has inspired confidence in the makers of Chandini's Telugu movie. If it manages to deliver the promised "new kind of experience", it will be deemed a landmark Tollywood outing.
Co-starring Sushanth Yashki, the untitled film also features Jeevan Kumar and Ajay Ghosh.
