After the feel-good rom-com Little Hearts and the disturbing rural love tragedy Raju Weds Rambai, Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati are up for a new theatrical release as distributors. Their next release is Isha, a horror thriller. Helmed by Srinivas Manne, the film is slated to head to theatres on December 12.
Starring Thrigun (PSV Garuda Vega fame), Akhil Raj, Hebah Patel (Kumari 21F fame), Siri Hanmanth (content creator who has also been to Bigg Boss Telugu once), and Babloo Prithveeraj (who made a comeback with Animal) in pivotal roles, the film is expected to narrate a series of spine-chilling incidents involving haunting places and traumatized characters. Pothula Hema Venkateswara Rao of HVR Productions is backing it. KL Damodar Prasad is the presenter.
A glimpse video released today shows school kids, mysterious incidents in a rural setting, and a haunted posh bungalow.
A meticulously designed soundscape that makes silence as oppressive as noise is expected to be a feature of Isha. Practical effects, real locations, natural lighting, and a muted or desaturated color palette (blues, grays, sickly greens) are expected.
Mark the date! Isha will hit the cinemas on December 12.
