The Teaser for 'Double iSmart' hasn't found resonance with the Netizens out there. On Wednesday, moments after the Teaser was released, social media was flooded with complaints about the quality of content.
"Puri Jagannadh seems to have rehashed the first installment with doses of his style of outdated comedy and regular fights," a Netizen wrote. A movie buff opined that comedian Ali seems to be part of an idiosyncratic track that won't find takers. "For how many years will Puri continue to believe that his pet comedian from the 2000s, Ali, can deliver laughs in 2024? The whole idea of comedy has undergone a major shift in the last ten years," a cinephile wrote.
While Ram Pothineni's screen presence is commendable in the Teaser, nothing much can be made out about Sanjay Dutt's character. "Sanjay Dutt is looking like a cardboard villain. The rest of the bunch are caricatures. I hope Puri is delivering 'iSmart 2' and not 'Liger 2'," a fan wrote.
