Exhibitors decision to affect 'Kalki', 'Pushpa 2' and others

It has been decided by the exhibitors association in Telangana that there will be no more benefit shows and midnight shows in the State. The self-imposed decision also pertains to special shows, reports say.

So far, there is no official word on the reason for taking the decision. Benefit shows benefit big-ticket movies. In the past, 'RRR', 'Pushpa: The Rise', 'Waltair Veerayya' and others raked in high revenues from early morning shows.

In the light of the latest decision, it is speculated that the upcoming big-budget movies are going to take a beating. Prabhas-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD', Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2' and Jr NTR's 'Devara' will be among the first ones to be affected.

The decision could be reversed in the near future. It is believed that the exhibitors are using some tactics to get some things done from producers.
