'Satyabhama', starring Kajal Aggarwal in an aggressive role, is going to hit the cinemas on May 17. Suman Chikkala has wielded the megaphone.
Producer Srinivas Thakkalapelli of Aaram Arts is associated with producer Bobby Tikka in bankrolling the investigative thriller. Presenter Shashi Kiran Tikka, who has previously directed 'Major' and 'Goodachari', has provided the screenplay.
The thriller also stars Prakash Raj and Naveen Chandra. With music done by Sri Charan Pakala, it is edited by Kodati Pavan Kalyan. The story of the movie unfolds in multiple towns, the makers said.
Kajal was last year seen in Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari'. Her role in it was limited. The 'Sita' and 'Magadheera' actress will soon be seen in 'Indian 2', starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar. She is going to have two theatrical releases in the next couple of months.
