Tamannaah Interview on Abhinetri

Tamannah is one of the talented actress in Tollywood. She has amazing acting skills coupled with dancing skills as well. Very soon we will be seeing her in Abinethri. She talks about the film and much more in this interview.

Tell us about your role in this film?
It’s a village woman’s role whose husband is fascinated by modern women and wanted to marry one of them. My character has two shades in this film. With a back drop of films, the movie comes with a strong emotional message.

How was it doing the film in three languages?
Oh it was very taxing. I was so totally exhausted. I have decided never to do a trilingual again in my life. The shoot of this film was completed in less than 60 days.

Prabhu Deva...comment?
He is such a powerhouse of talent and a great dancer. During a shoot of the song I was tensed. But he is a good human being, I loved working with him.

Being in the top league, was it wise to do a horror film?
This is not like any regular horror films. I have been offered many regular horror films before and those did not interest me. When Abinethri was narrated to me I was in awe and I knew that I wanted to be a part of this film. It is not a heroine oriented film. Watch it and you will know what I am saying.

Quality and quantity, how do you strike a balance?
With experience I have learnt it. I get lots of offers. I want to do some kind of films and I get a different kind. At this stage in my career I think I should be doing female oriented roles.

Your dance in Abhinetri has become the talk of the town?
Thanks. I am not a great dancer. Many heroes are good at it. The focus is because I am a heroine. Here we have very less heroines doing item numbers. There is Shruti Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and me. In Bollywood many heroines do it.

Some actresses are getting married. What about you?
It’s not logical. Someone is getting married so you are expecting me to get married. Don’t you like me act?

Any idea why Katappa killed Baahubali?
When Rajamouli sir shot that no one else was there. This scene was shot during the shooting of the first part. I still have some more scenes to be shot for this film.
