Allari Naresh and Sakshi Chowdary starrer ‘James Bond’ produced by Rama Brahmam Sunkara and directed by Sai Kishore Macha, has completed all formalities including censor and is all set to hit the screens worldwide on July 24. This comedy entertainer is being made under AK Entertainments India Pvt. Ltd. banner with ATV as presenter. ‘Nenu kadu Naa Pellam’ is the tag line. On the eve of film’s release on July 24, Allari Naresh spoke to the media and shared his views. Here are some excerpts:

‘James Bond’ title is very different. What’s the reason behind to choose this title?
Everyone knows this title. It’s the universal title. Audience will expect chases, blasts and high action scenes. ‘James Bond’ will have all these elements, but I will not do that and my wife in the film Sakshi Chowdary will do. I played Nani, a software engineer. The story of the film is about what if a Lovey-dovey husband has a powerful mafia don like wife. So, we have chosen the catchy title. We have given ‘Nenu kadu Naa Pellam’ as the tag line. It is an action comedy entertainer and will leave the audiences high on laughter.

How would you describe the story of ‘James Bond’?
Every film will have some different point. But the character should connect well with us. Naresh is like a guy-next-door dude to audience. Therefore I have to choose such films which will connect well with the audience. Till now we have seen dons like Abu Salem and Dawood Ibrahim. But, you will see lady don and how she will torture his husband in this film and the film will leave the audiences high on laughter from start to end of the film.

You are working with AK Entertainments banner for the third time…?
I have good relationship with Anil. He is a passionate producer. We used to discuss each other about the scenes. He is like my own brother. I’m always be ready to do films with him.

What are your plans for your 50th film?
My aim is to do a film like ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’. Many people have suggested me to remake ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’, ‘April 1 Vidudala’ and ‘Jamba Lakidi Pamba’. But, they all are already proved films. I don’t want to remake those films. I’m longing for the concept like ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’.

What kind of message are you giving through this film?
Every film will have some message. But we should not give the message directly in comedy films. It must be like sugar coated. Though I have been tortured with my wife in the film, I always loves her. The film depicts how the hero gives importance to love and relationship.

Comedy films will have special dialogues. What kind of care did you take regarding dialogues?
Sridhar Sipana, Bhavani Prasad and Shyam have provided dialogues for this film. They have penned excellent dialogues which suits to the present trend. During the narration, I’ve enjoyed a lot while listening to the dialogues. Audience will also enjoy a lot while watching the film.

What are your plans about entering into direction?
It’s not an easy task to direct a film. I’ve some ideas regarding direction. I will not act in my directional venture. My film will have comedy, but it may not be totally comedy entertainer. I’ve plans to do feel good movies like ‘7G Brundavan Colony’ and ‘Geetanjali’.

Did your wife watched your film?
Yeah, she did! She even appreciated me saying that she was immensely impressed with my performance.

Tell us about your next film which is doing under 24 Frames Factory banner?
Mohan Babu and I are doing the film under Srinivasa Reddy’s direction. It’s the remake of a Marathi film. Mohan Babu’s comedy will be like that in ‘Assembly Rowdy’. I play his son-in-law character who will torture him. The title of the film is ‘Mama Manchu-Alludu Kanchu’. The characters in the film will be like Tom and Jerry.

Tell us about your next projects?
I’m doing a Kannada movie which is the remake of ‘Victory’. Another film in the direction of Nageswara Reddy.
