Venkatesh starrer Guru has been postponed many times. Initially the film was to release on January 26th and it got postponed. For some unknown reason a new release date was not announced. The makers have now announced that the film will be released on the 7th of April.
Remake of the superhit film Saala Khadoos which had Madhavan in the lead, Guru will show Venkatesh as a boxing coach. Sudha Kongara has directed the film. Ritika Singh will be seen as Venkatesh’s disciple in this film. Santosh Narayan has given the music. For the first time in his career Venkatesh has sang a song ‘Jingidi Jingidi’ for this film. Y Not Studios has produced Guru.
