The pre-release function of ‘Vangaveeti’ was a much awaited one, as it was publicized that Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan would be attending it. He and RGV share a close bond. Sadly
Amitabh Bachchan could not attend the event due to a technical issue in his flight.
The actor tweeted, “DAMN ..! Was flying to Hyderabad event organised by RGV.. tech snag in plane had to cancel .. Apologies .. but all good wishes ... and for RGV event all good wishes for his latest film in Telugu ..VANGAVETI .. all the best and may it have roaring success .” From Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna attended this event, while director S S Rajamouli missed it.
