Gorgeous Nayanatara is playing the lead role in the film titled ‘Mayuri’. It is the Telugu version of Tamil film ‘Maya’ and it is being brought to the Telugu audience by C Kalyan on CK Entertainments banner. Debutante director Ashwin Saravanan is directing the film. C Kalyan is very happy that ‘Mayuri’ which is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages with high technical values is being brought to the Telugu audience on his banner. On Wednesday, i.e. on July 29, he arranged press meet to brief the progress of the film.

In the press meet, he informs the media saying, “’Mayuri’ is a supernatural horror thriller. Nayanatara played a mother in the film. The story of the film revolves around her character in the film. I’m sure ‘Mayuri’ will stand out as one of the best films in Nayanatara’s career. Since it is a thriller, visuals have given more importance. Re-recording and visual effects will become highlights for the film. The film has got Hollywood film look. Ron Ethan Yohaan has done re-recording in Hungary. Nayanatara didn’t have any qualms of working with a 24-year-old debutante director Ashwin Saravanan as she believed in the script and it shows how much she was impressed with the script. The film will have three songs. Trailers of this film will be screened in theaters where the film ‘Srimanthudu’ will be screened. We have decided to release the film in August.”

“We are planning to release the film ‘Attack’ which is being made in the combination of ram Gopal Varma and Manchu Manoj, in September. Meanwhile, the shooting of Varun Tej starrer ‘Loafer’ which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh, is going on in Jodhpur. Once I complete all these project, I will produce another film under VV Vinayak’s direction,” he added.
