‘Chandamama Kathalu’ producer Chanakya Booneti received Rajitha Kamalam by President Pranab Mukharjee

We all know that Director Praveen Sattaru's 'Chandamama Kathalu' has won the national award for the best regional feature film in Telugu at the 62nd National Film Awards. The producer Chanakya Booneti has received (Rajitha Kamalam) Silver Lotus by the President of India Pranab Mukharjee on the day of awards ceremony of the movies. Manchu Lakshmi, Aamani, Naresh (senior), Krishnudu, Chaitanya Krishna, Richa Panai and Naga Shaurya have done the lead roles in this movie. 'Chandamama Kathalu' is a compilation of eight short stories in the movie. The director's takings received accolades from the critics. All the team members congratulated Chanakya Booneti.

An elated Chanakya Booneti shared, “I feel it as a pride for being as a producer for ‘Chandamama Kathalu’. Winning the national award is like a mile stone in the life. It’s such a great feeling. These award are like confidence boosters to make many more such films. My hearty thanks to each and every one in ‘Chandamama Kathalu’ team who supported me to make a good film. We are planning to produce another film with inspiration of this award and the success of ‘Chandamama Kathalu’. Right now, we are working on the script.”

Dasari Narayana Rao expressed his happiness and he specially felicitated the team at his birthday function which was held on Monday.
