Saloni bags Race Gurram

‘Maryada Ramanna’ fame Saloni joins Surender Reddy’s ‘Race Gurram’ as a second heroine opposite Allu Arjun. Saloni who earned immense craze with Rajamouli’s ‘Maryada Ramanna’, later was seen as second heroine in ‘Body Guard’ and ‘Adhinayakudu’. However she failed to make an impression as both films failed at box-office. After quite a long gap she bagged another opportunity in Allu Arjun’s film in Tollywood right at the time when she is doing extremely well in Malayalam industry. The reason could be that the makers wanted to double cash in on the craze for Saloni and Allu Arjun in Malluwood. ‘Race Gurram’ has Shruti Haasan as the main leading lady.
