Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth showered praises on ‘Kumki’ (Gajaraju) film starring Shivaji Ganesan’s grandson Vikram Prabhu as hero directed by Prabhu Solman. The film became a box-office hit in Tamil and was dubbed into Telugu as ‘Gajaraju’ recently by producer Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Pvt Ltd. The film was released on December 21st across AP under Multi-dimension Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
Padmasri Kamal Haasan said, “Shivaji Ganesan was the inspiration to Rajnikanth and me for choosing this acting line and finally reached a position. I will be grateful to that family for adopting me as a child in their family. Both Ram Kumar and Prabhu consider me as brother. I’m very happy to note that Shivaji Ganesan’s grandson and Prabhu’s son Vikram Prabhu’s debut film ‘Gajaraju’ become such a huge hit.
