On the occasion of Pongal, Surya unveiled the first look poster and title of his upcoming film with Karthi as hero. Via a tweet, Surya announced that the film has been titled as ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ in Tamil and ‘Chinnababu’ in Telugu. Directed by Pandiraj, the film has Sayyeshaa Saigal as the female lead. The first look reveals that Karthi will be seen as farmer.
The film marks the first collaboration of Karthi and Surya’s 2D Entertainments. It also marks first collaboration of Karthi and Pandiraj. The film has music by D Imman.
