Comedian Kishore who shot to fame through Deva Katta’s ‘Vennela’ and turned as ‘Vennela’ Kishore is now directing the sequel to ‘Vennela’ as ‘Vennela 1 ½’ featuring Chaitanya Krishna and Monal as lead pair. While ‘Vennela’ was made on the America backdrop, its sequel ‘Vennela 1 ½’ is being made on a Bangkok University backdrop. The story revolves around a few Indian students who goes to Bangkok for higher studies and their experiences in that country. According to producers Vasu and Varma, Brahmanandam’s role will entertain the audience from start to end. The film is set for release in December. Other star cast is Raghu Babu, Master Bharath, Sravan, Giridhar, Harish, etc. Sunil Kashyap is composing the music.
