Vijayachander About 'Saye Daivam'

Vijaychander’s birthday is on May 24. On this occasion, the actor took some time off his day to share few details about his upcoming devotional film ‘Saye Daivam’.

The actor, who impressed audience by playing Sri Shirdi Saibaba role in ‘Sri Shirdi Saibaba Mahathyam’, is now once again portraying the same role after 33 years. He shared, “I am playing Baba’s role nearly after 33 years. I feel it as Baba’s instruction. I am now 80 years old. One day, when I was in Baba getup, a devotee came to me and said that I was born to play Baba role. It has given me immense happiness. Another devotee said that I am Baba’s adopted son. I feel these words as Baba’s blessings.”

The film that features Vijaychander, Chandra Mohan, Suman, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh and Sai Prakash in the major roles, is being made under GLB Movies banner with Bhavani Arjun Rao Ponogoti as producer. Srinivas GLB is the director. Shooting part has already been completed and audio is already released. The makers will soon announce the release date of the film.

On this occasion, director Srinivas GLB said, “‘Saye Daivam’ will be like a treat for devotees of Baba. Vijaychander garu playing Baba after 3 decades is a highlight. Only he can perfectly dwells into Baba’s character. Kannada director Sai Prakash plays another important character. We have gathered devotees’ experiences with Baba. We are very happy that ‘Saye Daivam’ music has become success.”
