After ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ Manchu Manoj Kumar dropped off a couple of films including that of the Tamil remake of ‘Vedam’ due to the shoulder surgery he underwent a few months ago. Infact all this while he was taking complete rest in order not to strain himself. Now that he is perfectly alright he is getting ready to start his work for his latest film ‘Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’. Ragalahari already mentioned about this new project a few weeks ago. This movie will be produced by Lakshmi Prasanna under her banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. It is a light hearted comedy flick to be directed by a new director. The latest news is that Deeksha Seth is going to play the leading lady opposite Manoj. Deeksha made her entry through a small role in ‘Vedam’ and later grabbed the opportunity as second heroine in ‘Mirapakai’ and female lead role in ‘Wanted’. ‘Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ is her 2nd film as full fledged heroine.
