Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav Says Indians Are Lucky To Have K Viswanath Garu

Legendary filmmaker Kasinadhuni Viswanath, popularly known as K Viswanath, has won the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award for his outstanding contribution to the Indian cinema. The messages of congratulations have been pouring in from all corners for K Viswanath. Today afternoon, i.e. on April 26. Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MAA President Shivaji Raja and Joint Secretary Naresh personally visited veteran director to congratulate him.

On this occasion, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, “Telugu people who have been honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award which is the highest Award in Indian cinema, are BN Reddy, Paidi Jairaju, NV Prasad, Nagireddy, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Ramanaidu. I am extremely delighted and happy that our legendary director K.Vishwanath Garu has won the award. He is the one filmmaker who never failed to address social problems in his films. Along with ‘Swarnakamalam’, he made many super hit films with Chiranjeevi garu. He should have get this award long back. It’s an honour for all Telugu people all over the world. Telangana Chief Minister KCR garu asked us to felicitate Viswanath garu. I feel so lucky for getting the opportunity to felicitate him. Indians are lucky to have him. We will soon arrange an event on behalf of government. Telugu film industry is rising high.”

MAA President Shivaji Raja said, “My heartfelt congrats to the legendary filmmaker K Viswanath garu for receiving Dada Saheb Palke award. It’s our Telugu people’s pride. We all are celebrating. We are soon arranging MAA silver jubilee celebrations and we will felicitate him on the stage.”

Congratulating the legendary filmmaker K Viswanath garu for receiving Dada Saheb Palke award, MAA Joint Secretary Naresh said, “There are many wonderful films in out Telugu films industry right from ‘Mayabazar’, ‘Shankarabharanam’ to ‘Baahubali’. KV Reddy garu, K Viswanath garu and Rajamouli garu has taken the Telugu cinema fame to international level. I wish K Viswanath garu will be hounoured with many more international awards.”
