With the taste ‘Mirapakay’ has given Ravi Teja’s image as a Mass Maharaja has further been strengthened.  Thus the producer Ganesh Indukuri has poured more than Rs 30 crores for the film ‘Veera’ under his new banner Sanvi Productions.  So this romantic action entertainer portrays Ravi Teja in two different shades.  It depicts him as a courageous individual with guts to face anybody and any challenges.

Ravi Teja’s image is expected to further get enhanced with the romantic dolls Kajal and Taapsee.  Kajal, who doesn’t need any introduction, is playing the role of a ‘Kabaddi’ Chitti which is a mass character.  Though it is for the first time she can set the sets on fire.  She can well be matched with the support of Taapsee who has enough glamour quotient to contribute and rightly she does that of an IT college girl.  Her recent stint with ‘Mr Perfect’ (incidentally that too besides Kajal) has raised the hopes of many.

Shaam, who has been a very successful actor in Tamil did a role in ‘Kick’ as a police officer.  Whether he has been branded for the same role is something to be seen as he is playing in this film also the same police officer’s role.  He seems to be getting accepted in Telugu with another film ‘Kshetram’ in which Priyamani plays his love interest and Jagapathi Babu being male lead.

Brahmanandam’s comedy supported by Ali, Venu Madhav and not to say of Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam and Master Bharath will be the comedy section.  It is to be seen whether Ravi Teja’s natural comic instinct dominates this comedy department.  While main villain will be Pradeep Rawath, one has to see what Prakash Raj and Rahul Dev are going to do in the film.  Sridevi, Roja and Naga Babu also are expected to play certain important roles in the movie whose screenplay is under the trained guidance of director Ramesh Varma.

The director who stole the applause through his stylish racy flick ‘Ride’ has put in all his efforts with the help of Chota K Naidu handling cinematography and music from Thaman. Ravi Teja-Thaman already figured in ‘Kick’ and ‘Mirapakay’ and the ‘Veera’ being the third.

The unit traveled Mauritius and Switzerland for filming the songs.  Chota K Naidu capabilities could well churn out the best product from these locations.  The banks of Godavari river in Rajahmundry, the Aruku valley near Vizag and Vikarabad forests have helped to film the action scenes and climax scenes.  Ramoji Film Studio also figured in the list of locations.  While art director of the movie is Narayana Reddy, editing is handled by Gautham Raju.  If one remembers punch dialogues in Tollywood it will be difficult for them to forget Parachuri Brothers.  Tollywood also synonymous with the pair Ram-Lakshman who are the fight masters for this film.

As the day of release 20th May nears, the movie ‘Veera’ with enough stamp of Ravi Teja’s comedy and action will surely be an entertainment with enough glamour from Kajal and Taapsee and contribution from the heavy weights in Tollywood manning 24 frames.  Minimum guarantee assured.
