Grand Launch of Wonder La in Hyderabad

The much awaited 3rd theme park from the house of Wonderla Holidays is all set to redefine the fun landscape in Hyderabad. The park was officially dedicated today to the visitors by Telangana State by Mr. K Taraka Rama Rao - Cabinet Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Administration, IT and Panchayat Raj.

Spread over 50 acres at the ORR, Exit no 13and built with an investment of Rs 250 Crs, Wonderla Hyderabad will offer The latest, tech packed, 43 attractions which includes 25 land based attractions and 18 water-based rides. The park which can cater to more than 10,000 visitors a day, was built in a record 15 months' time.

Apart from having the largest mix of water and land based rides in the city, the park will offer the latest and the best in amusement park technology as well, including:

• India's first reverse looping roller coaster named RECOIL, with maximum height of 40 metres and with 6 inversions per ride, imported from the Netherlands.
• India's first SPACE themed flying theatre experience, which will be open by December 2016
• First Park in India with cashless RFID based transactions facility called EZ Pay across the park
• First Amusement park in India that will have the capacity to generate over 1MW of solar power

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arun K. Chittilappilly, MD, Wonderla Holidays Limited said 'We are very excited to be in the city of pearls.
