Jackpot, starring Sunny Leone, Naseeruddin Shah, Sachiin Joshi is all set for release

Hyderabad, December 8, 2013: The fast paced Hindi comedy thriller directed by Kaizad Gustad - Jackpot is all set for the release on December 13, 2013. The movie’s lead cast Sunny Leone and Sachiin Joshi were in Hyderabad on Sunday at Kanishk Store to interact with the media.

Jackpot movie has three cons outwitting one another only to lose and win again. The theme of the movie is set in the world of casinos, boats and gambling in Goa, therefore majority of the shooting was done there. The movie cast comprises of Sunny Leone, Naseeruddin Shah, Sachiin Joshi, Makrand Deshpande, Bharath, Manish Wadhwa, Sumit Kumar, Daniel Weber etc. The soundtrack has 9 tracks. Sharib & Toshi, Mika, Remo Fernandes, Sridevi Keshavan & Janaka Atugoda, Rishi Rich, Juno Reactor, Rahul Bhatt and Itek Bhutani composed each one song. The songs are:

The movie is contemporary, urban, young, fresh and funny. It is a universal story about greed, trust and love. It is told in a fast and frenetic manner - complete with song, dance and action.

Speaking to media Sunny Leon said, my role is that of a casino manager in the movie with alliances with Naseerudin Shah and Sachiin, it’s a con game, each one of us trying to con the others to win the jackpot, everybody would appreciate the movie. In 14 years of my career I have grown up with different roles and there can’t be a better role than this in accomplishing my personal goal. Overall this has been a learning experience and found myself lot more comfortable here. I am very happy with this being a performance oriented role. I learnt a lot from Mr Naseeruddin shah in this movie. Every dress I am wearing in the movie fits me and is very classy and beautiful. On the strip scene scene in the movie she said, it’s not a strip scene but a scene between two lovers, chemistry has to be there to make it look real, it’s just what a girl and boy friend do in the normal course. If I like a role, I don’t think whether it is negative or not negative, I go ahead. On a suggestion for offering tips to her husband on acting, she said, he doesn’t need tips and is bold and entertaining; it’s very exciting to see him on the screen for two hours. I love India and looking forward to a long stint here. First time when I visited Hyderabad, I didn’t have opportunity to go out, would be happy to see the city today.

Sachiin speaking about Jackpot said, the biggest USP of this movie is its script and all of us including Mr Naseeruddin Shah are acting in this because of that, it has fantastic songs and a complete entertainer. Me and Sunny have good chemistry, that you can already see in the promos. From the vast experience of Naseeruddin Shah we could learn and improve upon our roles. On working with Sunny he said, she is naughty and made a play ground of the sets. On acting in a movie directed by Kaizad Gustad, who was not successful earlier, he said, you can’t judge a director on past movie performance. Sachiin said, for me acting is a passion and look forwarding to doing unique roles. My first love is Telugu movies and would opt for if I get an opportunity.
